What to Do

BOATING

Residents who are also boaters and belong to one of the many yacht clubs in the Marina enjoy being close to their beloved boats. Highlights include Opening Day, sailboat races, The Annual Holiday Boat Parade, and the overall love of the open seas.


BICYCLING

The Villa Marina Community is approximately 3 blocks from the awesome Pacific coastal bicycle path. Join the bike path at mile marker 13.5 and go north to Venice Beach and the Santa Monica pier, or south to Manhattan Beach.

DINING

Restaurants within walking, biking or driving distance; five star or mom-and-pop; unique and chain; there is a vast variety to choose from.

ENTERTAINMENT

Sunday jazz performances at the local shopping establishments, catch the Hollywood Bowl bus in near-by Culver City, see intimate theatre in nearby Venice, movie theaters at one of the local shopping centers.

NATURE LOVERS

Visit the Ballona Creek Nature Preserve in nearby Playa Vista, take the bird watching tour offered by the county starting at Burton Chace Park, and check out the aquarium at the Santa Monica Pier.

THE PACIFIC

Walk, jog, bike, drive, or take the summer shuttle to the beach. It is awesome!
